Notice: New Undergraduate incoming students will receive access to the required training courses within 24 hours after registering for classes. You should receive an email when the training is assigned to your account. It will be titled “Online Course Assigned to You by UCI”.
All incoming students are required to complete trainings on alcohol education and sexual assault prevention (formerly the First Year Internet Safety Training (FIRST) program) prior to starting the academic year:
Alcohol Education (45 min)
Sexual Assault Prevention Training (45 min)
The online training programs give you the tools to better understand issues related to alcohol abuse and information on sexual assault, stalking, and dating & domestic violence.
This training has been designed with your safety in mind as you prepare for a wonderful experience in your first year of college. As a requirement under UC policy and state & federal laws, students who fail to complete the trainings are subject to a registration hold. This hold will restrict you from accessing campus services such as adding and dropping classes, registering for new classes, and using other university services.
